About Remote Assistant (RA) Africa Fellowship
The Remote Assistant (RA) Africa Fellowship is an 8-week virtual fellowship that helps young Nigerians launch global careers as remote executive assistants.

Who Should Apply
RA Africa is for motivated, coachable early-career Nigerians who are:
Living in Nigeria
Between the ages of 22–30
Interested in global remote assistant roles
Has a Bachelor’s degree
Comfortable learning and using digital tools
Strong communicators (written and spoken English)
Committed to personal and professional growth
No prior assistant experience required—just a drive to learn and show up.

Who is this fellowship for?
The RA Africa Fellowship is for early-career Nigerians (ages 22–30) based in Nigeria who are eager to build professional skills and succeed in global remote work environments, particularly as remote assistants.
Do I need previous experience as a remote assistant?
No experience is required! We’re looking for coachable, committed individuals who are eager to learn and ready to show up.
Is the program really free?
Yes. If you're selected, the 8-week training is fully funded and free of charge. And if you complete the program, you’ll have the opportunity to join an amazing community of like-minded professionals.
What kind of job will I be prepared for?
You’ll be equipped to work as a Remote Assistant, supporting founders, business owners, and consultants worldwide in launching and growing their businesses and ideas.
What is the weekly time commitment?
Expect to spend 5–7 hours per week, including live sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00–7:30 PM WAT, plus session prep material review, and assignments.
Will I get a job after the program?
After the program, we work to connect you with job opportunities through our employer network, referrals, and partners. Our goal is to help you confidently step into your next role as a remote assistant.
What tools or tech do I need?
You’ll need:
A laptop with a working camera and microphone (video required for live sessions)
A stable internet connection
A quiet space for attending virtual sessions
What happens after I finish the program?
You’ll join our alumni community for continued support. You’ll have exclusive access to job leads, mentorship, workshops, and fellow-only events.
How do you select and train fellows?
Fellows are selected through a competitive application process and complete 8 weeks of intensive virtual training. The curriculum focuses on execution, professionalism, communication, emotional intelligence, and remote work readiness.
Can I request a fellow for my business?
Yes! You can express interest by filling out our Employer Interest Form. We’ll follow up to better understand your needs and explore potential matches.
Is there a cost to hire a fellow?
Yes, there is a small placement fee to help us continue supporting and matching top talent. Once hired, we’ll work with you to ensure fellows are fairly compensated for their work based on an agreed upon rate.
